Hey guys, welcome to my new blog. I haven't written a blog post in a while, but I'm going to start writing here more frequently. You may remember my first blog post 3 years ago: "Why I Like Coding as a 12 Year Old". I will link that at the bottom. I want to start off by talking about how I built this blog and the Tracker platform. For the past 2 years, my dad and I have been developing a platform for online communities called Tracker. Tracker originated from two Facebook groups that my dad started and managed called Hawaii Tracker and Roseburg Tracker. Over the course of 4-5 years of running both groups (now with tens of thousands of members), he realized that there needed to be an easier way to make each group sustainable. We started Tracker with both Hawaii and Roseburg Tracker as public groups on the platform, but we've recently implemented Private Groups, Family Groups, Blogs, as well as custom domains for each community. We have a lot more features built into Tracker like group email lists and monetization features. With a bunch more on the way. Now my new blog is hosted on Tracker but still on my website.
